At the heart of Vetta’s technology platform is our own internet network – a resilient, high-performance backbone that powers our connectivity, voice, cloud, hosting and business services. Owning and operating our own network gives us deeper visibility, faster issue resolution and more control over performance than reselling third-party connectivity alone.

Vetta operates Autonomous System AS64073, a fully registered BGP internet network headquartered in New Zealand. AS64073 is the numeric identifier for our global routing presence on the public internet, and it signifies that we manage our own routes, prefixes and IP address space rather than relying on resellers.

Global Connectivity, Local Control

AS64073 connects directly to the global internet and peers with hundreds of other networks. These interconnections help improve routing efficiency, reduce latency and deliver a better experience for customers who rely on cloud services, hosted applications, voice systems and international traffic.

Our upstream connectivity includes major international carriers and peering exchanges across New Zealand and Australia, while our netework strategy supports both IPv4 and IPv6, ensuring modern, future-ready routing for all customers.

Peering & Performance

Our network maintains an open peering policy with other providers, which improves performance for customers by enabling direct routing where possible without needing to transit through intermediary networks. We routinely peer with domestic and international networks to reduce latency and improve routing quality.
